Let me tell you a story, that started four years ago. When I chopped off my hair, dyed it platinum, and stuck in a yellow and orange streak. It grew, colors changed, and then I dyed it all brown for my “adult” job.
Which, it turns out, is pretty awesome and not all that “adult.”
So I added some red. Then more red. Then orange.
Then blue.
Which looked like a decaying animal as it faded.
So I went back to platinum.
Which has done me well for this past half a year or so.
But now?
A new era.
A purple era.
And oh, is it going to be fun.
Awesome hair and everything (I’ve always wanted blue hair!!) but my main question is, is that giant safety pin in your mug?
Hah! It does look like that, doesn’t it? Nope, just a loose-leaf tea strainer-thingy.
I wouldn’t usually be one for colored hair (call me traditional . . . ), but I have to say that the purple color is GORGEOUS. I love it.

oooh, purple is FUN, especially with that color top you are wearing. I used to be more adventurous with my hair (was platinum blonde for a while, and most winters were a nice magenta) but now it’s more normal *sigh*
Not going to lie–I spent a good 30 minutes holding all my work cardis up against my hair this morning to see which went best ;D You should totally bring the magenta back!

I have red currently (don’t think I have pics of when it was bright bright red though) and I thiink I have some pics of the other colors on my old computer. Ill try to dig them up tomorrow!

Isn’t the necklace fab? We were actually supposed to dress “professional” for work for once. So I dyed my hair purple…and then balanced it out with some fancy jewels…
