Steampunk AND zombies? With a premise like that, a book can’t go wrong. And it didn’t. Read it in a day which is always a good measure of “sucked-in-edness.” A woman tromps off through a steampunk version of 1880s Seattle to save her misguided son. Zombies, gears, cogs, airships and gunfights ensue. Fun, creative and an overall good time. The only complaint? Brown font. Wouldn’t think it would make things that much harder to read, but it does. If you get this book, see if you can find a black-fonted copy. Your eyes/head will thank me.
