Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins

This is the sequel to Hunger Games, and I bought it knowing that A. There is no way it can be as good as the first, and B. There is no way I could stop reading the series after #1. This one takes a chapter or so to hook you (rather than being sucked in by page 2 like in Hunger Games), it suffers from middle-of-a-trilogy disorder (doesn’t really start or end), it talks about kissing a lot and the plot and personal struggles feel a little repetitive. Yet despite these flaws I still found Catching Fire hard to put down, and I read this one in less than a day.
