Turns out that dismantling, refinishing, hanging, swearing, rehanging, swearing, refilling holes, and rehanging cabinets is a lot of work. So while the inside of my house is still a mid-move disaster and my kitchen remains out of order–take a look at my peaceful and perfect patio and fresh new garden. I can’t wait until it’s time to start planting! …And hopefully this kitchen disaster (okay, okay–fun disaster) will be done by then.
Complete with Easter lunch, sunshine, unremoved umbrella price tag (whoops) and a halfway decent book. I know how to celebrate a holiday!
Ooh I can’t wait to see what you plant in your garden, all of your new home adventures are so exciting!!! π
Thanks! I’m pretty darn excited about this garden, too. I still have to decide what I’m going to plant! Glad there are a few weeks ’til I have to get moving on it.
Such a huge yard!
It’s niiice. And even more so because I’m paying someone else to mow it, haha.
Smart girl. I don’t have grass, but we definitely pay someone to weed the huge flower beds/barkdust areas.
You go girl! So exciting! Your patio does look so peaceful!
Thanks! And it really is–plus there were a bunch of robins bopping around in the freshly tilled soil while I was eating. I got to birdwatch at the same time!
How cool to be eating your Easter lunch on your OWN garden furniture – in your OWN garden! That rocks π
Hope you had a great weekend and that the inside of the house is sorted soon!
It sure does! I may have been celebrating by myself, but it was definitely a celebration!
Oh FUN!!!! Can’t wait to see the garden as it grows. Enjoy your week!!!!
I’m excited to watch it grow, too! I can wait until frost risk is over and I can get planting!
We moved almost a year ago and there are still things that are in shambles! It takes time…. I had a very similar Easter and just laid outside with my book while E grilled us lunch and dinner.
Ooo, I need a grill π And yeah, I’m rushing with the kitchen, just because I want to be able to cook and put stuff away, but the rest of the house will most likely be a sloooow process.
swearing, ha! π I can’t wait for a garden either… enjoy that back yard!!
I definitely will! Adds so much to an already great house…and a garden is definitely a necessity–I hope you get one in this summer!
I love sitting outside in the backyard! We dont have a big one right now.. π¦
what a lovely setting and table! Enjoy π
You’re getting there girl! I am not sure I would have een been motivateed enough to make a place setting for myself haha
Haha, gotta admit–I have no placemats, and only one fork and one spoon were pulled out of a box. And I have no cups. And I’m still eating my salads out of a mixing bowl. But I will be dressing up all my meals as soon as I get a little more organized!
I have a feeling that any garden that you plant will be lush and interesting and beautiful.
Can’t wait to see more progress!
