You can’t be good at everything, and I’m just plain bad at some things:
Remembering to take photos for WIAW. I managed to take pictures my breakfasts this week. But that’s it. And is even less impressive when you realize I eat the same bowl of Greek yogurt + squash + cinnamon + maple syrup every morning. Why did I need pictures of each one? At least it involves healthy fall foods.
Not picking at scabs. Darn it, how does anyone resist?? I swear I’m older than six. But I really need to duct tape some oven mitts to my hands.
Not buying tea. Again, darn it, how does anyone resist??
Winter. But this year I’m prepared! We’ll see if there’s any truth to these benefits-of-sun-lamps rumors.
Returning Redbox movies. Put on pants and leave the house, or pay another $1.31 to keep it a second night and not put on pants?
Dressing myself. The moose vest rides again! As before, I swear I’m older than six. But hand-knitted goodies from my mom? Give me the (literal) warm-and-fuzzies.
There’s nothing wrong with being bad at something–What’s one skill you just don’t have?
Not falling over things or cutting myself when I cook…there I’ve said it. I LOVE the moose vest. Is it knitted? Does she still have the pattern? My sister loves Moose and knits a lot. She would love that pattern!
Yep, it’s knitted. I’ll ask her what she used for a pattern and let you know!
That vest rocks. Please wear it this weekend. π
Mmmm I’m obsessed with tea π It’s all good! I’m horrible at returning library books!!
Scabs! Seriously. I’m, like, the grossest little kid ever.
One skill I don’t have – singing! I’m awful!
oh gosh I have a lot of skills I don’t have. I suck at actually making good looking food, you should have seem the mess I tried to make last night. sadly wasn’t even edible
Ha ha that sweater is too adorable…hello Christmas! I am terrible at putting on eyeliner, keeping my closet neat and changing my bed sheets. There I said it, and it feels so good to get it out π
MOOSE VEST FTW!!! π And oh my word yes to the scab thing, I have no clue how people can resist the picking!
I’m the world’s worst grocery shopper– I literally never stick to my list and always either get too much of something or forget something haha! I’m also an atrocious shower singer….it sounds like male cats fighting during mating season…
I’m glad we share similar singing talents–I break mine out in the car, and just hope no one stopping next to me has their windows down π
I’m terrible at turning off lights – my mom tried to break me of that habit as a kid and my hubby has given up. π
god, there is nothing more satisfying than peeling your own skin off. WHY is that true?! we are some sick creatures sometimes.
thats me!!! all of it! and i just bought another tea. I have yet to shower or dess myself post training, and i pick scabs! hehe
oh my gosh, I love that sweater!! haha how cute is that???
Where did you get that sun lamp?! I have been wanting one SO badly! I swear I get seasonal affective disorder every winter.
Also, I pick my scabs too. That is all.
I love that we both had the warm and fuzzies (or tinglies) today, just for very different reasons. The sun lamps, if they have enough volts or whatever it is, are really supposed to work. I’ve been wanting to buy one forever and a day…or really just the past few months, but it feels like forever and a day. Do you wear the reindeer sweater in public? Or just the comfort of your home? π
I’m horrible at turning things off: lights, water, the stove…yep, I’m a walking hazard.
Totally rocked that sweater-vest at work yesterday. Not only in public, but in a professional (ish) setting π
It’s a vest too! OMG. You brave woman!
That sweater is soo funny and cute! Oh cool what is this sun lamp? Oh I’ve had the same thing for breakfast for the last 3 days. I actually made a big thing of steel cut oats and just left them in the fridge. Yup… My mom doesn’t let me cool after 8pm and I’ve been coming back home much late then that/ leaving home early so yea… Weakness for me is being competitive/ comparing myself to everyone else.
Definitely don’t put on pants. And speaking of no pants (that sounds weird but it’s just the link to an ecard:))

Ahaha, I LOVE that–That’s my life!
Can’t wait to see if you love the lamp (haha…I love lamp)! I could probably benefit one in the world of grey and cloudy and rain for the next six months.
Do you drink more tea or coffee? Both equally?
Waaay more tea. I probably have coffee three mornings a week, maybe one afternoon a week…and drink about 5 cups of tea over the course each day. Hence the reason all of those are decaf/caffeine-free…
Love that the vest is back!
(I swear this is my last comment)
I love your comments, you’re welcome to leave thirty.
I almost commented again with the bacon link, but then remembered Twitter! All social media. All the time.
Your breakfast sounds amazing!! I can’t believe how much tea you have!! I thought my 4 boxes was bad! hahaha And I vote for keep the pants off and stay inside….totally worth the $1.33! π
That was the conclusion I came to as well. Pantlessness is totally worth $1.33.
I’m with you on the tea!
Omg, I MUST know if that lamp works! Especially since I just realized the other day that I will only see at MOST 2 hours of daylight each day until daylight savings time is over…thank you night shift (grumble, grumble)!
And I’m totally with you on the tea! Ugh, I have like 10 boxes right now…just can’t resist!
I’m horrible at answering emails, controlling my lead foot, and NOT injuring myself in the kitchen…I am the clumsiest/most oblivious to the surroundings person I know!
can that sweater be any cuter? I mean really… a moose π π
I suck at turning off lights. I’ll see them and think to myself, hey turn it off.. but instead i’ll continue to walk right past the switch.
I’m with you on the tea thing…..My cupboard is full yet all the tasty sounding flavours make me want more!
I WANT THAT MOOSE SWEATER! π
I love this.
One skill I just do not have is eating one type of a cereal at a time. I have four or five boxes open now. It is impossible to NOT mix them.
Today I got home, as I do every day, and take off my work clothes as soon as humanly possible. I don’t want to do anything that requires putting pants, and shoes (!), back on.
